Customer Review: Everything great but the volume. Purchased at Wal-Mart for $198!
I purchased the Sharp LC-19SB25U at a local Wal-Mart for $198.00 on 4/17/09. I had been looking for a 19" for my kitchen and was waiting for them to get under $200 and really didn't care about the brand, as long as I was satisified with the reviews. I was getting close to buying a Coby thru Amazon or a Sanyo at Wal-Mart when I stumbled across this Sharp on sale at Wal-Mart. I bought it and have been happy so far. I agree with the other reviews regarding the low volume however. I took my computer speakers and hooked them up and they were much louder than the tv's speakers. They are just a temporary fix since I plan on buying a nice speaker to mount under the counter alongside the tv. So for another $20 bucks or so I'll be up to $218, which is still a good deal in my opinion. It is a nice looking tv! I have gotten good deals thru Amazon in the past and am happy with them, but this time I got a better deal somewhere else.
Customer Review: Sharp 19" HDTV
Read all the reviews on the television before purchasing and am pleased with the unit. The only disappointment is that Walmart carries the same unit for $50 less than I was able to purchase through Amazon.

For last six months or so I have had this receiver in my home theater system. I have been extremely pleased with the quality. The excellent picture and sound are absolutely astonishing. Granted, I'm no HT expert but I did do a lot of research, read a lot of other reviews, and simply found this to be the best product on the market at this price. I certainly was not disappointed.

Have this tied into my Samsung 52" LN52A550 with a Motorola DCT6412 cable box and a PS3 connected to it. I have it all connected through HDMI. If you have a Blu-Ray Player then you certainly will be pleased here. You simply will not get the full HDMI routing anywhere else that I have seen for this kind of price.

If I had to give this a downfall it would be the ability to understand the manual. It was not exactly clear when it came to some of the directions. A lot of the settings just took time for me to play with before I had it figured out. I tried referring to the manual, but I simply was not sure what a lot of it meant.

Also, changing anything seems to be a pain. The menus are not very easy to navigate and it is often time consuming. So, generally, you will want to set this thing up one time I would imagine and never really alter it too much later on. Overall though, I felt like I got what I paid for, I am very pleased with the product. I would and already have recommended it to several friends who are shopping for a receiver.
