Customer Review: incredible
unbelievable picture. you can find calibration settings on cnet. I agree...contrast ratios are overrated....amazing picture and clarity. I also purchased the cheetah mount and had this tv on the wall in less than an hour. saved a lot of money compared to buying at bestbuy etc. no negatives about this TV at all. I was comparing this to the Samsung and Sony V series....just got a heck of deal on this and I am not looking back.
Customer Review: The best 52 inch out there
After returning a defective Samsung LN-52A550, I decided to give this a try. Bhoy I made the right decision! Ignore any contrast ratio rating by so called experts. This is the one to own. Aquos picture is the best in the business. Clarity of pictures is so amazing. So crisp on HDTV, that we can't help on watching more blu-ray on it. I also use this as an awesome monitor while I type this review. Never again will I stray on another Korean brand like Samsung. Their quality and customer service is pathetic. I was also considering the SONY KDL-52V4100. Picture is not close to this Aquos. You have to get their XBR series to land a crisp picture compared to this Aquos. Pros: 5Hdmi, 4ms response time . Slimmest of the bunch,3.0 Energy Certified. Amazing picture with correct setting, great design, Japanese quality, exceptional customer serice. This is Acura, Lexus of televisions

Those of you who download your movies from the internet or do a lot of intense gaming may increasingly find yourselves thinking of how convenient it would be if you could have these experiences on a big screen. Because LCD technology is derived from computer monitors, this allows you to merge your computer use into the fantastic viewing an LCD TV can offer you.

(Caution: Please note that these steps may not apply to you completely; you should use this article for guiding principles rather than as a step-by-step manual).

First you have to ensure that your LCD has VGA, or any options to connect to a personal computer or gaming system. This includes seeing that you have the necessary cables and wires to connect the two. These cables can come either with your LCD TV or your personal computer system or separately on its own. It is only recently that manufacturers themselves recognized the need for these cables and their widespread use, so chances are that if you have an older model it is unlikely that you have the appropriate wiring.

Then you should situate your LCD near to- possibly next to- your computer system. This will minimize the need to pull your wires and cables to impossible lengths. It will also make it easier for both gadgets to be used at the same time.

Finally, do the wiring itself. Depending on the model of PC and LCD TV you have, this may be anywhere from a simple to a complicated process. For your safety do not forget to follow directions and take all safety precautions. As long as you do that, you have no need to be daunted by the complexity of the process.

If you plan to or find yourself using your LCD TV primarily as a computer monitor, it would be wiser to invest in a high-quality, big-screen LCD monitor. The biggest perk of doing so is that you will have no need to pay for extra hardware such as tuners or AV tuners that you may not use in your actual TV. For gamers who get a thrill out of playing on a big LCD screen and just want the biggest size possible, expert reviews recommend one of the Samsung 32 to 40 inch screens for the most vicarious experience. Avid movie-watchers also find that Samsung's screen sizes in this range are ideal for the movies they download off the internet and want to see on the big screen.

Along with enhancing gaming and movie-watching experiences, using LCD TVs in place of computer monitors also reduces eye fatigue and subsequent headaches. For people who find that all of their entertainment is centered on the computer screen, this is a big plus.

Thus, those of you who are particularly fond of gaming and watching films or shows on your computer should definitely consider setting up your LCD TVs as computer monitors. A merging of the two will allow you a great flexibility with your virtual experience.
