Panasonic TH 58PZ750U - 58" plasma TV - widescreen - 1080p (FullHD) - HDTV

With its 1920 x 1080 resolution, the HD panel on Panasonic plasmas displays beautiful images without having to perform pixel conversion for the 1080p video signals processed by the video circuitry. Because super-high resolution is best appreciated on a large screen, Panasonic offers the 1080p HD panel in 50 inch and larger models. These dazzling images can be further enjoyed with the stunning detail and beauty of a Panasonic Blu-ray Disc player.Movie images are some of the most difficult for TV displays to reproduce. By working closely with movie studios for many years and applying research by the Panasonic Hollywood Lab, Studio Reference Mode on Panasonic plasma TVs enables the replication of colors that was originally intended by the director - exactly the way they are seen on reference monitors in professional film editing rooms.Pro-Setting Mode offers the precise, highly detailed adjustment of image quality to suit personal preferences. Just the touch of a button on the remote executes setting adjustments such as tint, brightness, contour emphasis, gamma compensation and black expansion, which would otherwise require the use of special equipment to accomplish.EZ Sync HDAVI Control lets you operate all of your home theater components by pressing a single button on your TV's remote control.GalleryPlayer allows you to enjoy the world's finest high definition art and photography on your Panasonic HD plasma TV. Use the free GalleryPlayer software to purchase and download the images you like, and then play them on your Panasonic HDTV right from your PC. Sign-up is easy and free. Customer Review: Maybe and Mybe Not
When installed and connected to a DirecTV Receiver (HR-20 700 HD-DVR): The top showed a jagged white line when set to the "Aspect" called "Full" - The ONLY ASPECT choice to look at the picture witout distortion. Changed from HDMI to Component with no results. Finally changed the DirecTV receiver with the identical HR-20 from another room. It worked -- FOR A WHILE, Then the white staggared white line at the toP re-appeared. The next morning,TODAY, I turned THE TV on and the jagged white line is gone - so far. It has worked for 8 hours without the white line at the top. I don't know what to make of this but I have a 30 days reurn policy from Ultimate Electronics in Denver. They have been cooperativE - so far. Anyone have any comments?
Customer Review: Man, what a set !!
I've had the 58" set up and running for a couple of weeks and could not be any happier. All the good things you've read about it are true. It's big, it's heavy, and it is the best plasma on the market. I had a hard choice between this plasma TV and the XBR5 Sony LCD. Either would have been great. I'm glad I went with the larger plasma, no regrets. I watch a lot of sports and movies, and this one is the best. One of the main reasons I choose this Panasonic over other TV's, is a feature that the manufacturers don't also talk about, but I feel is extremely important. That is the 'finish' on the TV's screen, gloss or matte. The gloss finish on most plasmas is real bad, and you can be distracted by objects relected on the screen. The matte finish on most LCD's is great. This Panasonic is somewhere in the middle, and very acceptable.I understand that the 2008 model of their 58" plasma is even more matte. I would not have waited any longer when I bought this TH-58PZ50U model, it is fantastic. Buy one or two!

The video surveillance recording industry now uses covert DVR cameras, replacing the VCR devices with greater advantages. However, the covert DVR camera is more expensive than the VCR version.

One significant advantage is that the covert DVR camera will switch to full video after detecting movement and record suspicious activity. Static images are recorded every five or 10 seconds. Images are recorded directly to hard drives, allowing a person to view any specific time of interest. The VCR required lengthy fast-forwarding and searching for the same moment of time. Additionally, the covert DVR camera does not require tapes, so there is no concern for storage space or tape deterioration.

So what is the purpose of a covert DVR camera? For those concerned with the activity occurring during their absence from home with nannies or caretakers, or at a place of business, hidden cameras and spy equipment is one way to provide this reassurance. If illegal activity is suspected, you should consider using a covert DVR camera.

Rising crime rates is a cause for safety and trust issues. The flexibility of a covert hidden spy camera can be programmed to fit your needs. Monitoring with a covert DVR camera not only provides reassurance, but also confirms suspicions about someone.

Choosing the right vendor for an important security purchase is vital. Usually, the hardware, such as cameras, electronic locks and motion detectors, are uncomplicated. Even if one brand has more features than another, or seems to be more reliable, each type will get the job done. Having the right vendor to install the system is what can make a huge difference.

Therefore, obtain professional installation of the equipment. This is not any easy, do-it-yourself project. Money and time is not saved by inexperience that will put your family and/or valuables at stake. A maintenance contract is also essential, so chose a vendor with whom you can easily work with to create a good working relationship.

Word-of-mouth referrals from similar businesses are an excellent source. Talk to family members, neighbors or co-workers with nannies and who use security devices. Find out if they are pleased with the service and quality of installation received.

Speak with current customers for feedback on their experiences. Make sure the company has been in business for many years with an experienced sales staff and technicians. During the sales process, pay attention to how you are treated by the salesperson. If he or she does not base recommendations on your specific needs, a quick sale and subsequent commission is their motivator, not customer service. Do not expect the service to improve once you make your purchase.
